The Broadview Library has served northwest Seattle since 1976. Its log house architectural design includes original woodcarvings and murals by local Native American artist Marvin Oliver. The collection includes books, magazines, audio and video recordings, books on tape and large collections of auto repair manuals and large type books. A meeting room which seats 35 people is available to community groups. The library has a weekly story time for preschool children, a monthly book discussion group for adults, and a monthly program on local history hosted by the Broadview Historical Society.
